Steve Boots

Steve Boots is a retired Canadian streamer and creator who covered Canadian news & politics from a progressive perspective. I have edited hundreds of Steve's videos which were viewed over a million times during Canada's 2025 Federal Election. I also designed and developed his website, merch and apparel line, and ecommerce store.

In my first month working with Steve during the 2025 Canadian Federal Election, I edited over 130 YouTube videos, creating and testing hundreds of thumbnails.

The result was a doubling of views for Steve's stream clips and an acceleration of his channel growth - hitting 75K subscribers by the end of May when his goal for 2025 was to hit 50K!

The YouTube channel reached the 10 million views milestone at the end of March and had almost 5 million views in April.

In June of 2025, Steve Boots decided to add a second YouTube channel specifically for Stream Clips.

I led the growth of this channel, bringing it to monetization in just 2 weeks and reaching almost 1 million views in the first 2 months.

Steve made the difficult decision to step away from making content in August 2025 for personal reasons. He is now back to making a difference in young lives in the classroom in Saskatchewan.

It was a privilege to work with Steve on his coverage of Canadian news and politics and to learn so much from him in the process.
